First Aid Annual Refresher

This is for FAW or EFAW students. The HSE strongly recommend that all First Aiders complete a 3-hour refresher course every 12 month to update them on their skills and give details of all new subjects or general changes. It keeps the first aiders essential practical skills fresh in their mind enabling them to be confident to deal with any situation they may face.


Course Details:


Duration:

3 hours.


Time:

To suit your company’s needs, any time any day of the week.


Attendees:

2 students upwards, various learning abilities.


Attendee Requirements:

Age 16 years or older; must be fit and able to work at floor level and have an in-date first aid certificate.


Record Keeping:

Attendance records will be kept for 4 years.


Aims of Course:

To improve further a current first aiders knowledge and update them in any changes.


Certificates:

Certificates of attendance will be issued. These hold the necessary workplace approval through the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB). Approval number: 73/07(372).
