Basic Life Support + AED

For anyone wanting to understand how to treat an unconscious casualty and receive training in the use of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED). More and more companies are seeing the need to provide AED’s and this course gives all students a full understanding in its use. Ideal for the self-employed/employees who work alone, or for training extra staff in basic first aid skills.


Course Details:


Duration:

3 hours.


Time:

To suit your company’s needs, any time, any day of the week.


Attendees:

2 students upwards, various learning abilities.


Attendee Requirements:

Age 16 years or older; must be fit and able to work at floor level. Candidate must conform to the HSE criteria and be deemed competent to gain a certificate.


Record Keeping:

Attendance records will be kept for 4 years.


Aims of Course:

To enable candidate to give emergency life-saving treatment to a casualty.


Certificates:

A certificate of competence will be issued to successful candidates and are valid for three years. These hold the necessary workplace approval through the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB). Approval number: 73/07(372).
